Number of cameras?
The more cameras fitted, the better security coverage you will have. That said, the cost of these along with the larger capacity recorder needed, more cabling and labour will obviously effect the total cost.

Picture resolution?
We only install the best 5mp and 4K cameras. Internal, external, standard, full colour at night, static or motion detecting. *Lesser resolution cameras can have recorded evidence dismissed from court on technicalities.

PoC Analogue CCTV (Coaxial Cable)?
Power over cable is the cheapest form of CCTV and requires a DVR recorder which are also cheaper. The down side to PoC is that is old technology and is limited to user requirements.

PoE IP CCTV (Cat5 Cable)?
Power over internet is considered best practice by most professional installers nowadays due to its flexibility when programming, adding extra cameras at later dates internet access and future proofing. An NVR recorder is used for this system.

Recording and storage capacity?
The type and price of the recording system is reliant on what type and how many camera’s you choose. We supply anything from 1 terabyte to 6 terabytes which will affect the cost, recording and storage time and frame rate (staggered or smooth motion).

Mobile phone and screen integration?
The choice to have your live feed connected to your phone, TV screens or a standalone supplied monitor will also have an effect on the total cost.

Wireless or hard wired cameras?
We only supply hard wired systems as wireless ones are very poor.

Equipment manufacturer?
We only supply the best equipment on the market such as Hikvision which is the world’s largest security systems manufacturer. The amount of research and development they carry out ensures that the latest and most reliable systems are regularly produced. Lesser brands can suffer from drop outs, poor performance and lack of back up.

Service plan?
Unlike some companies, we quote for the whole job and equipment. Some companies will seem very cheap but insist on a monthly payment plan which can end up being very expensive over the long run. If not paid, they can switch your system off remotely.

Wireless or hard wired alarms?
Due to great 5 year battery life, we now mainly install state of the art wireless alarm systems. These have great flexibility in the planning of locations, neatness of no cables and can be connected to your mobile phone for alerts and activation etc.

Number of alarm sensors?
The more sensor fitted, the better security coverage you will have. That said, the cost of these along with the option to add door sensors, key fobs, key pads will obviously effect the total cost.
